Where is everyone from? I am from eastern Washington & one of the main things I have to look for when buying a car is how it preforms in harsh snow conditions. How about you, where are you from?
A few weeks ago there was a classic car show from my area, there were cars from the 40s & it was really impressive how much styles have changed. Have you seen any car shows in your area?
I agree, try out some honda's for quality, you will get your money's worth. If you are trying to impress the ladies/neighbors go with something more expensive
Look for safety foremost in a test drive. Ask yourself when test driving: Does this feel right for me? Is this turning radius & clearance enough for what I need/ weather?
Hi, Mazda owner here. I have an old Mazda Prelude & looking to buy either a honda car or bike in the near future. I'm from Pacific West area & my real name's Andrew.
I went up to Seattle a few months ago (4 hour drive) & did fine, but now I need to go again next month but the weather is much different. What should I keep in mind for the winter months & trip?
+Keep your car in the garage as much as possible
+Chains>studded tires
+If you have a pickup, get some rear weight
+carry sand, snow shovel in car & cell phone, just in case. Keep a towing # on speed dial :) Just in case
Traction. I live in eastern WA, & we have over a foot of snow, at least 4 inches on the roads constantly, there's been so many wrecks & car's stuck, makes traction the first choice here
Yeah, this problem was so bad that 3 of the main automobile companies that rely on SUV sales had to request a bailout from the government, GM in particular had the hardest time.
