All year tires

I am really starting to debate the tires we purchased a few months ago, they said year round but I think someone is fibbing. Its been light ran since about 3AM and going into work today it was slick as heck. Are certain brands just not as good as others?

Yes, some tires are better than others and last longer than others. That is why some tires are more expensive than others. Make sure you do some research the next time you buy tires because even though you may pay less, you might end up paying more in the long run because of how many times you have to replace them.

Oh, these were expensive to start with but they are a type that I have never used before so I can not really tell if they are not doing their job or if I am just not used to the way they handle compared to others.

If you are talking about all season tires, they have their pros and cons. I did fine with them until I moved to the mountains. Now 4WD and snow tires are a must for us.
