A month long trip has ruined my battery's life , i got it replaced with another battery and they tested it and was found ok, when winter has fallen and my battery starts and stops two to three times at intervals, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The winter season batteries takes more time in carrying out their task's so one of the remedy i suggest for the this is that once in a while drive the car so as the temperature rises to the operating levels and also don't forget to test the batteries whenever required.

I too had the same problem when i replaced a new battery. Drive it atleast once a day to rise it to the certain temperature.
Hope this solves your problem.

Cover your battery section with some thermostat material. It maintains the heat and hence wont allow distilled water to get freeze.
