I have to admit, I had my years that I would drive as fast as I could. But I have managed at my age to slow down and allow everyone else to pass me by. How many of you run above the speed limit. Come on now-fess up!
I'm always speeding. I personally don't think going a couple miles over the speed limit is a bad thing. It's been years since I was picked up too (knock on wood). I hope I don't get picked up tomorrow. I've got this need for speed.
I think we can change the question into "who doesn't go beyond the speed limit?" I guess everyone have tried once to go over the speed limits. I confess that it is a lot of fun going over the limit and not getting caught.
In my state, six miles over the speed limit gets you a ticket! However, when on an open road, with no one else in sight for stretches, I certainly speed.
It depends on which car I'm driving. I have a VW Passat Turbo that refuses to be driven slowly. People don't believe me but I can be doing 90 on the interstate and not even realize it. On the other hand, I have a Bronco that threatens to fall apart if you go above 75, which makes it hard to speed on the interstate.
I have for a long time, then I became a parent and slowed down. Also after being the passenger in a large wreck that left me gimpy for over a year I wised up real quick - its just not worth it in the long run.
In the past, I used to speed especially if I was driving alone. Now I am more mature on the road LOL. I prefer to be a safe driver. I rarely drive more than 60 miles an hour.
