Electronic Stability Control

It's a sensing system that selectively applies the brakes and reduces engine power to help regain traction. I have it on my Chevy SUV and I love it. Have you heard of this before??

I guess I have read this feature in Ford cars too. I think Ford Edge has that feature. It's a cool safety feature. It's like having an electronic copilot.

I don't have a newer vehicle so I haven't researched this. It sounds good. But what if the power goes out on you at some point? Can you still stop the vehicle. The more electronics I see going on to a vehicle, the more I worry about the basics.

I have heard about it before. One thing I read about it is that in the near future all SUVs were going to be required to have this feature as standard equipment.

This is a cool feature. SUVs are prone to roll-overs (God forbid) and I believe the Electronic Stability Control would minimize such kind of accidents.

I have a Chevy Trailblazer with this feature. I live in a snowy, mountainous area with lots of hills and curves. I'm amazed at how many times the light goes on saying it's in use!
