Forgot to Renew my Registration!

Yesterday, on the way home from the grocery store, I got pulled over by a cop. I knew I wasn't speeding and I check my car so ofter, I didn't think any of the tail lights were out or anything.

It wound up being that the sticker on the license plate had expired. I'd forgotten all about it! He let me off with a warning and I went right away to renew my plate.

Ouch. Good thing you only got a warning. It was nice before I got my truck as both vehicles were done at once. Now they make me do my truck in December.

Wow, glad they didn't ticket you! Our state has it set up that each month, a certain group of plates expire, based on the owner's last name. We need to take care of ours this month.

I have had that happen before. I realized it was expired before I got pulled over though. Glad you did not get a ticket, that was lucky.

Yikes! That might be something to put in your calendar so you don't forget next time! Since it usually expires about the same time every year, it would be easy to do.
