Have you ever prepaid for gas and then forgot to pump it? This happened to me the other day that is why I ask. I paid for my gas but by the time I got the kids back in the car and buckled and watched the lady behind me give me the stink eye for 5 minutes I was got sidetracked and forgot.

Oh no. I have never done that but that is only because when I pull in to a gas station my gas light is often on because I always seem to push it a little too far. The stink eye lady, did she get free gas on you?

No but one time my silly sister pumped her gas and forgot to take the pump out of the car and drove off. Ripped the pump right off! She was pretty upset but the gas station let her slide.

Oh, I am sorry that you didn't "get what you paid for." I have never experienced that, but it can happen to everyone indeed.
