How do they do it

I am just wondering how women drive with high heels on. I have never tried to drive while wearing heels but it looks uncomfortable. Ladies, does it bother you to drive with heels on?

I don't know, but I would guess they don't. They probably kick 'em off. I don't see how on earth they could drive that way, either! (I don't know how they WALK in them, either!)

Well, I am so pigeon-toed that I don't wear high heels very often, lol! But I do know that sometimes it is even difficult driving with sandals or flipflops, because I my foot slips and sometimes the pedal gets caught in between the shoe and my foot! I usually just drive barefoot, if I am wearing those.

But you have to admit a woman looks great in high heels! I really respect a woman who can wear them and walk. I think it must take some kind of secret woman power!

Where I live, you are not allowed to take your road test for your driver's licence with flip-flops on, but heels are allowed. I'm surprised by this, though I imagine heels are sturdier and pose less of a thread of slipping or folding under the pedals.

I hadn't heard about any restrictions on testing here, but I haven't looked into it that closely, since my daughter still has a couple years before she'll be at that point. I'll definitely need to find out about that!

I don't even understand how they walk in them let alone drive in them. It's all I can do to walk in regular shoes. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a klutz and have actually fallen when there is nothing to trip over but my own feet.

I used to wear high heels when I was much younger. I always had a pair of flat shoes in the cars. Then I would quickly change my high heels for the flats before I started the car. It is almost impossible, in my experience, to properly feel the pedals when wearing high heels, over 2 inches.
