From the time you first start hearing your breaks squeak, how much time (or how many miles) do you have to replace them? When will it start to damage the rotors?
If you are squeaking you are damaging the rotors. You should immediately get them fixed because it can cause other more expensive repairs. This isn't a repair to put off until later.
I would suggest you fix them right away. Hotrod is very right, once they are squeaking you could be in trouble. The longer they squeak the worse your bill is going to be.
You can sometimes get lucky but the first thing I do is drive a lot less and only take trips you have to. I would let it go like that two weeks max. If you can take public transport then do that instead.
