Some interior scents are great, but they contain allergens that are bad for asthmatics. To be safe, we don't use any. But we use moisture absorbents.
Anyone else with concerns like this? How do you deal with it?
I really dislike those overpowering air fresheners people use in their cars, especially the pine variety. They make my eyes water so I have banned them from my car. (I just open the window as much as I can.)
I keep two small cups of baking soda under my seats to absorb bad odors and, about once per month, I'll spray FaBreeze on my seats and carpets. It's not that the car is stinky (I'm very clean), I just like the frest scent.
