It pays to keep up with maintenance

I took my diesel pick up truck in for a 75,000 mile scheduled maintenance today. Included is a multi-point inspection. When they tested the batteries, they discovered they were dangerously low! When I think what it might have cost me had I gotten stranded somewhere, the cost of the batteries seems small! Do you keep to your maintenance schedule?

I try to keep up with the maintenance of my car. Although I know there are some things I really need to get done that I haven't, like changing the steering fluid and all of the other fluids that typically don't get changed with an oil change. I really need to get all of that done. It is well worth it to maintain a car instead of waiting too long and having to pay a lot more to get something fixed. There just never seems to be the right time to pay for all the little things that I should get done.
