Killer carts!

I swear it never fails when I am at the grocery store that one of the carts will attack my car. This is why people should always make sure they put the carts in the cart return! It annoys me when they don't especially since there is one like every three parking spots normally. Does this happen to you?

I haven't had it happen to me to my knowledge, but then again, my car is pretty dinged up as it is and I don't know if I would have noticed another one. I always put my shopping carts away; I feel bad for the workers who have to wander the lot collecting all the rogue ones.

I always thought it was bad when the carts attack my car but the last time I was at the grocery store the thing you put the carts in attacked my car. When I came out the bar of the cart keeper was against my car and my car had a dent in it!

It is annoying to have a cart (or buggy, as we call them in the south) race across the aisle and bop the car. Like spinner, though, my car is old enough and been around enough that I wouldn't notice another small scratch or dent!

My car has plenty of dings but it doesn't mean I want a needless one put in there by a cart. Coup, how on Earth did that happen?

I also live in the south, and I hate that they even allow people to take the carts out to their car! When I lived in the north, they had barriers up that didn't allow the carts to get through. You had to pull up and load your groceries into your vehicle. It may be a little inconvenient, but it saved a lot of cars from getting banged up! And it also stopped the shopping cart theft! I see a lot of people just walking off the lot with their groceries in the cart, like they own the thing, and then they don't bother to bring it back! Or, there are some that decide to claim it as theirs, keep it in their yard (my next door neighbor!), and then go back and use it again. Whew, don't get me started.....
