Lock de-icer

I've encountered this "issue" so many times, it's enough to make me sigh in frustration instead of laugh.

Yes, sometimes, the door locks on vehicles will freeze. It was quite recently that I found myself going through the passenger door of my vehicle to start it because the drivers' door and lock were frozen.

Well, a colleague was quite proud to share with a group of us that she now has lock de-icer to assist her when she encounters the problem.

It was all I could do not to fall apart laughing in front of her, but I did suggest that someplace NOT in the vehicle might be a better idea.
:peace!:

I hate when my doors freeze and then I look like a fool pushing the door trying to open it. I guess that's why I NEVER get my car washed during the winter months because the doors freeze shut every time.

My missus did that! I bought her some lock de-icer, and she promptly put it into the glove box in her van.

It's now sitting with a pair of scrapers, near the front door: at least the tools she might need are accesible this way.
