I think if you can afford to have more than two cars, then you should have as many as you want. However, if the notes on your car interfer with you paying your mortgage, utilities, child support, whatever, then I think one simple car is plenty. You see these guys out driving around in something they've modified to make look good, then go to their house and it's falling apart and has holes in the floor. I'd rather have a nice house and a crappy car than the other way around.
