A cousin of mine will be leaving his truck with us while he is overseas in the medial field somewhere near Afghanistan. He needs some type of special insurance, almost like storage insurance but it has to deal with the military too. Anyone know?
I'm in the military and have never heard of any insurance that you need for a car while on deployment. I haven't been on a deployment though so I am not 100% sure.
It is something like a storage insurance but we still need to start the truck every week while he is gone to make sure its not stick sitting and clogging up. He will be here before the end of the month so I will need to ask him again what it is.
He can go for USAA insurance. USAA has special benefits for those in the military. He can probably get a good deal to store his stuff at a storage facility.
