Anyone consider a muffler upgrade? I'm thinking of replacing mine to increase MPG... even though gas prices came back down I really don't know what's going to happen if they are going to go up/down again, so I'd like to have a crutch.
I am not going to replace my muffler. My car is a 2002 and gets great gas mileage considering what kind of car it is. In fact it gets better gas mileage than a lot of the new ones.
I think you should have a friend come over and help you with it. In my experience mufflers are not hard to put in but the help is nice. Have you ever done anything like this before?
