Potholes from Hell

After the "interesting" winter we have had in the Northeast, there seems to be a huge pothole every two blocks and a ton of little ones in every block.

How long do you think your town will take to fix them. I feel that my town will take at least six months to fix them if not longer.

Tell me about it. In the mornings when I take the kids to school, I have to make sure that I am really awake and paying attention or I would lose my tires. Some of the potholes I have to navigate are so big that if I were to fall into one, I would need a tow truck to get it out.

Six months would be assuming it was on a main road, too. I know some of the back roads where I grew up had perpetual potholes because they weren't "important" enough roads.

I hear you on the potholes. We have so many potholes in my city, they are literally one after another in the road and they can easily pop a tire. They have fixed some of the potholes, but even some that they fixed became a hole again after the last storm. I don't think our city has enough money to fix all of them right now. :(

I know what you talk about. The potholes are way too many that no matter how careful you are in driving, you wouldn't be able to avoid all those potholes.

I guess we all have been suffering due to the potholes. I just want you to know that if your tire gets damaged (not just a little like when you get a nail and you end up with a flat), you can contact the town's insurance company and the liability department can get it fix for you and sometimes even reimburse you.
