Recalls annoy me

I can't tell you how annoying it is to see all these recalls on the television. Aren't these cars checked before they leave the plant and delivered to the car dealerships? It's not just with cars it's with almost everything. Not to get off topic but toy and baby item recalls disturb me too! Why aren't these companies held responsible for putting us in danger? :mmph:

That does make one wonder what kind of inspection policies they have at the factories, It seems like they should catch inferior work there, before the vehicles ever leave the plants.

I got a recall letter for a 1990's model not too long ago. I have to take it in to get something fixed. That annoys me. It doesn't make sense that the truck is that old and they're just now fixing a problem.

As much as I would like to say that I hate recalls, I would be more disturbed if the cars were not recalled. Imagine if the issue was found and ignored-the dangers that could be present on the roads!
