Rules Of The Road

I have had it!!! I have had the last day I'm going to stand by and let neighborhood kids get out on the main, busiest road in our neighborhood in a golf cart with no markings, no triangular sign, no lights, no nothing. If there parents don't care enough for their children, I'm going to call the state cops. Surely there is a regulation against this somewhere. I'm scared to death that someone is going to run over them. We have big rigs travel that road at over the 55 MPH speed limit. It's all I can do to get on the highway in a car let alone those kids getting on it in a golf cart! Stupid parents!:mmph:

Yikes! I don't know what people are thinking! Most golf carts are not considered street legal, so they should not be driving on the street at all. I think if you called the police, they would definitely let them know that they should not be in the road.

Oh my gosh. That is terrible. Don't their parents understand the dangers? I live right buy a main road where we have a great deal of truck traffic and so I know how busy and scary that road must be. Have you tried to talk to the parents about it?

The law where I live is that they can only be on roads that are 35MPH and under. I still think that is dangerous because I see kids on them with no adult supervision all the time.
