Snoke test

Seriously I'm still dealing with a check engine light and I'm getting real sick of it. Next step is a smoke test? Something about putting smoke somewhere to check out the lines to see where gas could be leaking? How much is the test going to run me and is it something that has to be done at the shop?

My brother had a similar problem a couple years ago, and they were able to find the leak with this test. I wasn't cheap though, I think they charged him about a hundred bucks. As for doing it at home, maybe it's possible, but I would guess it's something that requires special equipment. You're probably better off biting the bullet and going with your shop.

I'm thinking the same! Man this car is driving me crazy... I say it will be the death of me soon! I fix one thing and then the light comes back on! GO figure! $100 bucks isn't bad if they fix it.
