The Nissan Cube

Has anyone had any experience with this car? I just love how it looks because it is the only average priced car on the road that actually looks significantly different than all the rest with its shape and windows. I'm so tired of how car makers have been producing "cookie-cutter" cars for the past two decades. The Nissan Cube really stands out to me as beginning to think outside the box.

Is it a good car to get? I want it for my next car, but I also want a car that performs well and gets good gas milage.

I know what you mean by cookie cutter styles, however, I don't like square. I have always loved roundish. I have read that it does 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG in the highway. The main cons are the poor acceleration, the minimal storage space with the back seat in place and it is not the most comfortable car if you are tall or travel frequently with tall passengers.

I have seen a couple of these cars in my area. They seem pretty interesting. I checked on the price, and a basic one is not that expensive. Like you, I am curious how does it performs, but I would like this information from a person that owns the car not from a research company. Anybody out there owns one of these?
