The "Take it apart and put it back together" Fix

Have you ever had a problem with a part and you decided to take it apart? Then you get it apart and you do not see anything wrong, and can not even tell if anything is wrong. Then you put it back together and it works? Yeah, this just happened to me.

Hah - what did you take apart? I've definitely done this before with stereo stuff and behind-the-dashboard type work. I always figure it's just dust or a loose wire that's messing with me when that happens.

I've seen my father try this before finally giving in and going to a mechanic. Of course, I've also seen him take something apart that works just fine and then put it back together to not work. :/

On numerous frustrating occasions I had this happen to me. It is always so frustrating, because I can't figure out what I did that made it work! This happens on a regular basis with my cell phone. It goes funny, then there is a blank screen, and then the call warning light goes on and poof it is dead. Then I take it all apart, take out the battery and the little card, blow on it a couple of times, and put it back together. Turn it on, and now it works.

Oh, yes! It seems to be the case more often with things that have an electrical aspect as opposed to issues more mechanical in nature, I've noticed.
