Tinted windows

Do you have dark tinted windows? For the life of me I cannot figure out how some people get away with driving their vehicles. Some of the windows that I see are so dark that you can’t even see inside the car, not even a little bit. Isn’t there some legal darkness you can tint your windows? I would be afraid if I was a police officer and I had to pull over a vehicle with dark tinted windows.

I've seen those windows that are tinted so dark that you can't see inside the car. It seems like there would be laws against it, but how are they getting away with it if there are?

Dark tinted windows are a scary variation of light tinted windows that show you your face when you look into it. Either way, you can't see what's inside. But those inside can see you clearly. My understanding about this is that, it's ok to have these tints at the sides and rear, but not in front.

I think the laws where I live are that you can have it on your drivers side and passenger side windows but only 3/4 of the way and you can have it on the back sides and back windows. Although I heard it depends on what city you are passing through too. I know someone who has that really dark tint and they got a ticket.

I had a manager where I worked that had his windows tinted so dark he had to roll them down at night. Mine are technically illegal, but not very dark. They are just shy of the limit.

I've heard of a few people who have gotten tickets for being too dark. I forget how some got around the tickets, it had something do with a light and eye thing where they said they had some medical problem to light.
