Top Five Worst Cars?

I was reading a listing a reviewer made of the top five worst cars of all time. I was surprised to find the Smart Carfortwo on the list. I had been looking to get one of these but was amazed to find they have a horrible rollover rate and are very unreliable. I'm disappointed but I'm not getting one now.

I have always thought the Smart Carfortwo looked a bit to small to be on the road. One vehicle I thought I wanted was the Lincoln Blackwood. It then got put in the do not buy list for impracticality. It looked so cool it did not even hit me that it was impractical.

To me the Smart Carfortwo was really designed for small European old world cities. There you have to maneuver in small tight streets, and parking a very small car is much easier.

I always wondered, what would happen if you got hit by another more substantial car on the highway. But I admit to not having looked up the accident rates and crash test statistics for the Smart Carfortwo.

Was the Smart Carfortwo even capable of reaching highway speeds? I know I've never seen one on the highway.

Was the Pinto on that list? Heheheh...I think it should be!

When I looked at the list both the pinto and the Edsel were on it. Now personally I thought the Edsel was great and one of the reasons it was on the list was for being out of date!

Spinner-agree on the pinto. As far as I know the Smart Carfortwo could get up to highway speeds. I'm not sure about interstate highways. But now that I look at it, it doesn't look substantial enough to be hit by anything and protect you very well.

My first car was a Pinto! I loved that car. It was reliable and a workhorse. I wouldn't mind having one like it now, if I had few enough people to ride in it.

The worst car I have ever seen was one my brother bought when he got his first teasing job. I can't remember the name, but is was small wide and yellow. Everything went wrong on that car. I know that they stopped making them almost right away, and it is know wonder!

Wasn't the pinto the one that would blow up if you got rear ended, or is it if you rear end someplace else. I am trying to remember just what the pinto did to get on that list!
