Do you have a DVD player?

I think almost everyone has a DVD player in their car now a day, except for me. :heh:

Do you have one? Did it come standard or did you have it put in? Does it actually get any use?

The after market stereo I put in has one. I only use it when taking my children on long trips. Keeps the kids busy.

The wife uses hers more often though when taking the children around town.

Don't worry KC23, you're not the only one, I don't have a DVD player in my car either. Actually I know several people who don't have one yet, but you're right, they do seem to be getting more popular. It would be cool to have one for long trips, but it's not that high of a priority for me.

I have three vehicles. None of them contains a CD or DVD player. One has AM radio only, one has AM/FM radio, and one has AM/FM radio and cassette player.

My Tahoe came with one. I can't think of a time I have ever put a movie in though. I think it would really come in handy if I had kids riding in the back.

I don't have a DVD player in my car either. A few years ago I went on a road trip with my mom and she actually had a full TV with a DVD player plugged in to the lighter and strapped in between the 2 front seats.

i think a car DVD player is conveniece for you, and is popular and not expensive now. maybe you should consider to have a car DVDplayer. Good luck

You are not alone KC23. There aren't any DVD players in any of our vehicles either. I guess we are just behind in the latest trends! One time when we went on a trip with a few friends, one of them brought their own portable DVD player for entertainment though.

Haha, I'm with the modern times, but a DVD player in my car is not something I have. I guess I don't really need it. It is illegal to have it in the front of the car right? All I have is my Aux jack for my Ipod! I don't even need cds anymore!

I don't have a DVD player in my current car, haven't had a DVD player in any past cars, and don't plan on putting a DVD player in any of my future cars. I don't even know that many people with DVD players in their cars. The radio is entertainment enough, besides I can't watch a DVD while I'm driving, so why should my passengers get to?

No DVD player in my car either. I do have one that we can take with us if we go on long road trips. I just laugh when I see some people that have multiple screens in their vehicles. Man we survived without them growing up, can't our kids too?
