Does my personal insurance cover me when I rent a car, I have Rent a car business in a short scale, any ideas ?

Some insurance companies will only cover rental cars only if you are on vacation, and not for business , clarify it with your company or agent.

I have Geico and when I asked them they said I was covered for any car I drive including rental cars but I do believe that differs with not only each company but different insurance policies. If you don't have it I would get it because what the car rental places charge is a rip off.

This is something I have always wondered myself. I usually end up getting the rental places insurance. Is this something you added to your Geico policy? How much more did it cost you?
