Is anyone checking the ratings of vehicles these days? I have a friend who is in the market for a new vehicle. They are expecting their first child. She wants to buy the "best family car" out there. Do they even have ratings like this anymore?

Wow, crazy! I doubt the elderly couple was texting or on the phone but possibly one of the other accidents was caused by this. People need to slow down and pay attention.

Nope, we still have quite a few auto shops in my area. I think most people are fixing their own cars or taking them to the dealership to get fixed. It's amazing that so many smaller shops are still around in my neck of the woods.

We have 2 drive-in theaters near me. We go all the time in the summer. It costs $7 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. There are always 2 movies and sometimes even 3 playing. It's a blast!

Perhaps there is something caught in the blower or motor? You would need to check it out. You could also have a loose screw! Is it still blowing out really cold air?

I've been using a Dirt Devil handheld one for years. I don't really like it. I usually get out the Shop Vac and use that. The handheld ones don't get into the tight corners of the car. The Shop Vac hose does.

Fender - Is it safe to leave your vehicle at the train depot for 3 days? I'm thinking of taking the train in to the city but also staying in the city for 3 days. I would not want anything to happen to the car when I was in NYC.

I use cruise control going to work and it is only 20 miles away. I tend to use cruise control whenever I can. I would much rather not have to push the gas pedal. Cruise also keeps me away from speeding tickets.

Agreed and I won't have to fight the traffic or try to find parking. I heard it is crazy expensive to park in NYC. Of course you have to be able to find a safe place to park.

My parents were in a serious motorcycle accident about 5 years ago. My mom rides but only short distances. My dad got right back on as soon as he was healed and able. I think they are way too dangerous!
