He could have been. I did some research on this and they say bears scratch things to mark where they have been. I guess they can leave their scent on the item they scratch. So it looks like the bear might be paying us another visit if this is true.

No, I would hope not. I landed the job I have now when I had a beater car. I still got the job. Your car does not say everything about you. Some people can't afford a nice new car, they should not miss out on a job opportunity.

Can someone tell me why a black bear would rip apart a utility pole? We have black bear in our area but its the first time I have seen actual damage from one. There are footprints (big) so I would say the bear is about 500 pounds.

I don't usually flash my lights at people when I think they have their high beams on. I just say a few choice words under my breath. You just never know if the person in the other vehicle has a gun. I'm not getting shot because I flashed my lights.

Pancakes are a learned science, I swear. I cannot make them either. I like small thin pancakes and mine always turn out lumpy and thick. I can make any other breakfast item though.
