I'm with you MarieLynn. I would not feel safe on the highway on a scooter. There are some nice ones out there starting at around $800.00. That's a lot of gas money.
I would love to have a 4 wheeler to ride in the woods and on the beach if they are allowed. You need to be careful with them though. Like anything, they can be dangerous. I had a friend that ended up with 50 stitches in his head after flipping one in the woods. Gotta be aware!
I have a dodge and mine kept coming on. After checking everything under the hood, I discovered it was the gas tank cap. The seal was faulty and after getting a new cap, I've had no more lights.
An electric car forum would be a great idea. Big city or not, they are out there and I know a couple of folks that have purchased one. They love 'em. I'm just wondering what happens when they have to have it worked on for one reason or another.
Our newspaper headlines today related 2 fatalities from a motorcycle accident yesterday. High speed, rain slick roads and lack of experience contributed to the accident. I am just not a motorcycle fan. Nothing between me and the road.
My driver's side wiper doesn't meet the windshield in one spot which just happens to be right at my eye level. The wipers aren't bad and I've tried bending the arm to make it work but to no avail. Any suggestions out there?
The older I get, the more I'm into comfort. It would have to be something smooth, luxurious, sporty, good gas mileage and pearl white. What fits that bill?
You are extremely lucky there was no damage to your truck fenderbender.
Trucks are just tough vehicles. I had a Z34 once that had that same sign on the back. "Hit Me." Three times I was rear ended within a couple of months. No damage, no injuries. That's the best part.
I don't think I have ever seen one with the two wheels in the front and the one in the back. I would prefer the two wheels in the back. It would be easier to steer I think.
