Today I worked until 3:30. Then we loaded up the car and we undertook the 5.5 hour journey to my families house. We got in about 10:30. Tomorrow we will have dinner at 2PM and then head back home because we have appointments and work on Wednesday.

My aunt passed away in September and now we are dealing with his aunt getting sick. She may not be able to get the surgery though because her EKG came back abnormal earlier this week. She will be having a stress test tomorrow to see if she can go ahead with the surgery or not.

I usually replace both at the same time but the rotors can go bad on their own. I just had a new rotor put on and had the other one turned. I am glad that my grandpa has the machinery to do that for me since it can cost $80 a rotor to have them turned.

A family member just found out that they are going to have to have major surgery 3 days before Christmas. She is worried that she is going to ruin everyone's Christmas. We are all upset that she will have to spend the holidays in the hospital.

You could also try upholstery staples if you have a staple gun. I have never had it happen myself but I had a friend with a really old car that it happened too. I think he just ripped it off though.

We went and picked up our tree last week and my truck still smells like pine tree. That's what you get when you have a real tree though. I kind of like it. I wonder how long the pine tree scent will stick around?

It is that time of year for sure. I hate having to go to stores during the last few weeks before Christmas. I do have to head over to the mall to finish my Christmas shopping this weekend but I would just flip off people like that right back.

I remember when we were younger my cousin thinking that they were Christmas lights. It is a very beautiful but dangerous sight. I am thankful that I don't live in too big of a city, even though we do have our fair share of traffic.

Smash, we have only gotten real trees for the last 2 Christmases but so far we have a perfect record of not having to chop anything off of it. I stood in the living room and reached my hand up to see how far we had to the ceiling before we left then we generally measured each tree we saw fro height.

I don't have to store them in my truck but I don't have a trunk anyway so it would not do me any good. I put mine down in a tote in the basement. If I need to hide one then it gets left at a friend or family member's house.

I try to vacuum it out at least once a month but it doesn't always happen. I am not driving it as much now anyway so it doesn't get as dirty. I usually vacuum the seats as well as the floors and mats.

I barely have time to decorate my house for Christmas, let alone my car. I think it is a silly practice anyway and in some cases can even be dangerous.

I don't have heated seats but I have been in cars that did. Quite honestly, I don't like them because they do get too hot and they make me sweaty. I have plush seats though so my seats don't get too cold.

That would be so very annoying to have to deal with that going off all the time. I am going to say it is a computer glitch and you should probably take it in and have it checked to see where the short is.

I have no choice but to do a road trip for Christmas. My parents, 2 of my 3 siblings and my aunt and uncle live 7 hours away. We will leave Christmas Eve and spend Christmas Day with my family.

Nice, every place that has ever given me a loaner gave me some crap Taurus. Last time I had to rent a car and they put me in a HHR because that was all they had on hand at the time. I wish I could have gotten a real car like a Charger!
