We have seen a ton of bikes out these ways over the past few weeks as well, even a couple of tri's going on. Not sure if there was a biker event this weekend for the holiday or not, but there have been more than I may have ever seen in the past few years that's for sure.
I know someone that has gotten two Miatas in the past year, he loves them. Have you checked out any places online to see what is selling best in your area?
Has anyone here used a mobile quote service before? We are having someone come out next week to quote us for the PDR from the hailstorm since the insurance finally did their job and cut us a check. Are they just as good as using a shop?
Two words, or one combo word your pick: Tire Kingdom. I was quite upset with the man too, we keep our vehicles in pretty decent shape seeing as they need to keep up with us, 5 pets and 2 kids. This man was nuts, I doubt I will ever go back there.
I think we have caught it once or twice but I barely remember it. Is that the same one that starts out with like 60 people before one finally makes it through the entire course?
That is what we thought too, before and after we dug about 3 feet down to help the truck out. That bush must have been really old with insane roots, it took a tree guy to come out with a large machine to finally take care of the darn thing!
Now I have heard of this for people but not for a car, what gives? The guy who did the oil change and tire rotate said most people are switching to yearly checkups for their cars, no matter if you drive it daily or ever now and then. :suspicious:
I do not have one currently as we are thinking about getting some dirt bikes before street bikes again but my uncle has an old Honda. I swear it has to be maybe a few years older than your own at the very most, he has taken forever restoring it too!
Being able to plan your trips better when you are hitting more than one place works great, its a time saver too. This week we had a trip that we timed right about two hours and we ended up hitting 6 different places up, with a kid in the car at the same time. Total circle completed the trip.
In our area lime green seems to be the new thing lately, I have seen all types of cars in this color but the best was an old reclaimed taxi cab that someone did their own handy work on. I swear it looked like they used a paint brush to do that car up, poor cab.
Does it depend on what type of bush you are trying to pull out. We tried with this one bush and I have no idea what type it was but it would not budge, this even after we dug it out a good bit.
We are going with the large tall trees and crazy plants route instead. Right now we have two Japanese maples in the back yard and plan to add more. A friend told us about a place that sells them for about 20/each, comparing that to places that want 250/each its a no brainier.
I think I have bumped a curb once or twice, mainly when I was getting used to the new car. Hard to judge distance when you are looking at a hood that seems to go on for miles and miles, otherwise I have never hit a thing (at least with a car).
I had an afternoon like that actually. We ended up ripping a ton of old ugly bushes out only to find out when we met up with the guy who comes out to take care of the trees that his mulcher can dig bushes up too. We spent six hours too.
I hear all types of stories like my buddy had just bought a new Mustang for his lady friend and she ended up backing their SUV out of the garage and hit the new car. This is not the first time I have heard of stuff like this, what gives? I have never had this problem, is it really that common?
I have never used one before but since we are re-doing parts of our house, a new TV for the bedroom is something on the to get list along with a nice mount. What brands have you checked out so far?
I kid you folks not, they somehow were on the "funny cigs" when they marked this land out years ago. One side of our house is almost a perfect line, you get 3/4 of the way into the backyard and it takes a huge 1.5 foot dip inward to the yard and then comes back out again. How is that even possible?
What if he was using it as a scratching post? I mean I would much rather pay higher taxes to replace a pole than have a bear attack a random person in the community. Just a thought.
I am battling something that seems like the flu right now but who gets the flu in May? I am still trying to figure out where I picked this bug up from. I have not been around anyone that has been sick lately.
We just got the results in and I love how they squared off everyone's yard, nothing is square about it at all. We have more land on the side we thought we would have less on. Talk about whacky, at least the fence can go up now.
