How do detailers clean carpet? Do they usually shampoo? I ask because I was wondering if it would be okay to steam clean my car's carpet with a steam cleaner. I think this would be less harsh than shampooing and would be pretty hard for me to mess up.

I think rotating the tires can help with decreasing how often you need to change them. I see some people on the road with almost no treads and I feel like pulling them over to tell them they should change their tires, but that isn't my place.

We located the starter, it was in a very weird spot supposedly according to the mechanic, it was near the coolant and oil box. Anywho, tapping it did work, we tapped it a few times and it cranked. However, can't do that forever, but at least we found the culprit!

Roller is right, I would drive the car once a week. Take it for a good drive say every Sunday. We did this for my grandmothers car and we also put those gas tank treatments in her tank from time to time to clean anything that settled.
