I have a friend that was pushed off the road last year by an 18 wheeler. A lone tree kept her from rolling down an embankment. Now she refuses to drive on the interstate because of this. How can she get over this phobia?
Counseling is my thought. She needs to get past the terror and I think it might take counseling. I doubt driving on the interstate would help her - she would be a hazard to herself and others.
After being hit head on I tend to get a little worrisome on the roads around anything but I still stay clam (though it’s taken years for this to work out). I give people plenty of room, truckers included after my dad was one for years.
