2 in one week

Oh boy! I have never had a speeding ticket in my life, that is until yesterday and today! Can you believe it? I received them back to back. Both of them are for $99, 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. I almost don't want to get back in my vehicle.

What is the worst speeding ticket you have ever received?

I've only ever had two and I got them a week apart. One I got on the way to get awesomw Thai food and then a week later, on the way back from getting awesome thai food. It's delicious food but not worth $200!

Maybe I am only suppose to have 2 tickets as well. I sure hope so. It sucks being behind the wheel now. I am always looking for the cops and I drive the speed limit.

Wow, that stinks..... I got one once for going 59 in a 30 and I was 16. It stunk- I could only drive to and from school and work. Good bye personal life!

Wow! How much was that ticket for? I am sure it was a big one. I wish they had just given me a warning, at least the first time. I have heard since that they are cracking down. A lot of people have been pulled over in my town within the last couple weeks.

Honestly I think SOME speed limits are outdated. How do you expect people to stick to the speed limit when the roads are wider and the cars are faster? :mmph:

Luckily, I have not received any speeding tickets this year. Sometimes, I drive very fast but in the roads that no enforcers hanging around. I even listen to news for me to be aware of the roadblock locations. I tried all ways and means to avoid road violations.

71 in a 65 (highway) - "No more than 10 m.p.h. above the posted limits"
Passing a semi, uphill - "Passing unlawfully"

That was my first and only, the cop asked how fast I went, he told me what he clocked me at, I told him that sounds about right (even though I was going faster).

It was like 1AM, highway closed other than me, semi and cop. Never again, and yes the fine was hefty. :(

Keeping fingers crossed here but I've never had a speeding ticket. That's not to say I've not sped, I just haven't been caught-yet. I have a feeling my luck will run out any time now as I am overdue for one.

I got 3 in a 6 month before and they were the only ones I have ever had! It stunk really bad because in Michigan not only do we get the original fine and points on our licenses, but if we get over 7 points we pay $50 a year per point over until it goes back under 7!

I got pulled over a couple months ago but the cop felt bad for me because I was 2 hours from home and lost in a not so good area. He let me go with a warning thank goodness!
