Now, I don't mean actually put it together with the parts and such, but I mean going to say ford.com or gm.com or whatever other site, and actually designing the car you want. Putting in what seat color, what accessories, what color, etc. I find that this really helps me get a car I want, rather than going to the dealer and being given whatever is in the lot

That's a neat idea. I was thinking you were talking about putting one together. It seems to me that if one DID build one's own car, repairing it would be a breeze!

That's for sure. You'd know where everything is, unlike the cars nowadays that are half manufactured in China, 1 quarter in Mexico, 1 eighth in Germany, and the rest in the USA, and no one knows what going on.
