Can your car swim?

I know there are cars that are more airtight than others. It's those cars that seem to take a thousand pounds of pressure just to close the doors. You know what I'm talking about! I would think those would float longer than the average car.

New selling feature: floating car. :) I think that might draw a few people anyway. I would hate to be submerged under water, trapped in my car. I actually go so far to put a window down when driving over a bridge. It drives my husband crazy.

I have thought of this a few times. It terrifies me to no end to think about it though. I do not know how to swim and I don't know what alternatives would I have if my car were to fall in a river. I wouldn't mind staying a float longer to give someone a chance to come an safe me.

Well, being submerged under water in my car is the last thing I want to experience. I love the idea of a hovercraft, which you can drive on the road or on a river.

I can't remember what type of car it is, but it was a pretty large car near my house and it's comparable to a hummer. I'm sure I'm way off when I say that, but that's what it reminded me of. It actually has a little tube above the car itself and it's made to go in water. I don't personally see the point, lol.

I have a serious fear of being in a large body of water within a car or truck. At least with the truck we could roll the windows down manually but with the car we have everything is power so we would be screwed. :(

We have all old cars, so no, none of them would float. With two in car seats, that's one of my worst fears. I don't know if we could get everyone out!
