Car Horns Sound

I woke up early this morning to refuel my car. On the road, I heard a unique car horn sound from other car. The sound was like a galloping horse. It really sounds weird. Is it allowed in your state to use different car horn sounds?

Yes it is allowed here. I think that they are great. What they don't allow here are the neon lights that some people put under their cars. They say they are too distracting to other drivers.

Yes, it's allowed. I don't think any state bans something like that, as long as it's not a distraction for other drivers. Some may be annoying, but they're not distracting.

Galloping horses? Wow. What would people think of next ---maybe a cow mooing? LOL. I do not know if there is such a law against horns like those but I would not think so.

If the horn doesn't sound like a normal one, it just confuses me while I'm driving. However, I do enjoy the General Lee horn. I think there should be laws against some horns though.
