Car Seat (kids)

We are having a baby soon and he will be our first. I have heard that children car seats can sometimes be tricky to install and that some people actually have firemen make sure that they are installed correctly.

However, how would a fireman know how to install ALL car seats correctly? Do you really need to take your car seat somewhere to make sure it is installed correctly? Aren't the instructions enough? :nerd:

Unfortunately, a lot of people do not follow the instructions as they should. Firemen are trained to install them correctly, however, if you feel that you can follow the instructions and do it yourself, go for it. We did it ourselves and did a good job.

You need to go to a qualified car seat technician. If a fireman is certified, that's great. Otherwise there are sessions sometimes at public libraries, and other places.

I don't think it would hurt to have someone look at it. I've just never heard of anyone doing that before. Honestly, it's not as hard as you think. They're really simple. It will just probably feel awkward the first few times you do it, that's all
