Cell phone laws?

What are the cell phone laws where you live? Here you can talk without a hands free device while driving, but texting is against the law. Where I used to live the law was hands free only, so I'm just used to popping in the Bluetooth as soon as I get in the car.

We're hands free and no texting here. I prefer it that way. I don't know why it hasn't been made a nationwide law yet. It would make sense for everyone to just have to do the same thing.

In Washington State you can't get pulled over for being on your cell phone but if you get pulled over for something else and you were on your phone then you are going to get a bigger ticket. I think it should be more than a secondary offense because it's very dangerous.

I don't know what the law is for sure but I know my mom makes me turn mine totally off whenever I go to drive the car. I can't even have it on vibrate! Then I have to remember to turn it back on when I get out where I'm going. It's so annoying!! But I guess it's better than having a wreck.

Honestly I am not too sure about them here but I should look them up. Too many people try and do too much when the only thing they really need to do is drive. Today I saw a lady taking off her shirt at a stop light, it was an extra shirt since I could see the under shirt but still. Distracting much!
