Changing Tires on the Driver's Side

I once had a flat tire at the left rear wheel in a busy expressway. I went to the shoulder, put up the early warning devices and changed the tires, no problem!

One day it occurred to me that buses and trucks were whizzing behind my back while I was changing the tires. One careless move on their part or my part could have been messy.

Now I'm just thankful everything went well that day.

Yeah, unless you can get well off the road, up in the grass, it's better to take the chance of ruining a tire than get hit by a bus or truck. Glad you're okay.

Exactly HondaMan. You know what, there wasn't even grass to speak of beyond the shoulder. There was a service road after the shoulder. So, you can see how thankful I am today that everything went well in those moments.
