Have you ever changed the material in your car? I have a friend who wants to change the upholstery in the back seat. The seats are pretty stained so instead of just using seat covers, he wants to change the material.
You don't say if he plans to do this himself or have it done. If the car is in good condition and the upholstery is all that's wrong with it, then I say do it. But, I would have it done. Too much work to do it myself.
I'd have it done too. I'm afraid I'm not very handy when it comes to this but then again, I wouldn't change the whole thing, at least not until it's completely ruined.
