Do Fuel Treatments Work?

There are some commercial food treatments that are supposed to hep clean your fuel injectors. Do you think that these actually do the job they are supposed to?

"food treatments"? You mean fuel treatments, I think! ;) I don't have personal experience, but my spouse swears by them. If the car is running rough after we fill up, we usually end up adding treatment to it, but I can never tell if it makes much difference.

Yes, I've used them a time or two. They can help make a difference, especially if things are very bad with your car. But a good service can also make the difference.

My mechanic recommends using the fuel injector cleaner. I use it, but I don't put it into every tank of gas. I put it in about every fifth or sixth fill up.

Every few months I use them. I did not for a while and my wifes vehicle was starting to act up, put in some fuel treatment and it has gotten better.

Well, so fuel treatments really work. I also use them once in a while but I don't notice so much difference. I wonder if it means that I have been using good quality gas. :)

It might do. I believe that it's the same stuff as in the better fuel. I've used the treatments once or twice and had a lot of success with them.
