Finding a bumper

Finding a used bumper for my truck has proven to be more difficult than I thought it would be. Apparently it is a very common color. Is there anywhere else to look besides the junk yard?

My girlfriend just recently had to find a bumper. She found the right one from a junk yard. It probably won't be the same color for your car, but that's why they paint them. It will cost you more. She didn't have it painted because it was black and her car is dark blue and pretty old so she didn't want to waste the money.

That is what I was thinking too, you find one that fits the make and model of your vehicle and then you paint it. Or you can be different and drive with a different color bumper!

Around here it would cost more to get an old bumper I bought at a junkyard painted to match my car then it would to just go to the dealership and get a new one. I can find the right make and model just not the right color. I just wondered if anyone had any other ideas than the junkyard for used parts.

I think the color wouldn't bother me particularly, but I've never had a car nice enough to care. If you do a search online, there's instructions how you can paint it yourself, if you can find the right color of paint.
