Frequency of Brake Pad Change

I don't know about anyone else but I had my front pads changed at 25,000 miles and now I'm at 50,000 miles they're getting low. Other people I know only need to get them every 50k or so... Is it my braking style or should I switch to a better brand (currently using Mazda genuine)...?

Every vehicle is different, and it'd be hard to tell if it's just your braking style without having someone ride with you and experience it. Maybe you could ask the people you are buying the brake pads from what they think about the Mazda Genuine brand.

I always go with the most expensive brakes. I am currently having problems with some brakes that were just changed. The store I bought them from have to replace them for free because of the warranty. Make sure you check that out as well.

I usually get the ones with the warranty as well. It makes a difference when you have to start replacing them. I would rather have good quality in the braking system because I sure don't want to start running into things at a high speed.
