Have your kids ever fought over who sits by a window?

When I was little my two brothers and my sister and I, used to fight over who got to sit by a window. Kind of hard when there are 4 kids and only two back seat windows lol. I had two boys and they fought over who got to sit in the front with me. Anyone ever been through this or have you done it when you were little?

Fighting over the window seat

My children and grandchildren haven't fought over the window seats as much as they fought over who sat in the front street. We tried flipping coins, taking turns and finally whoever got to it first. Then Mom came along and made them move their rumps.

Sure did - it was the same with me though, who is sitting in the front seat. I only have 1 child so there is never any fighting who gets the window seat or who gets "shotgun".

My kids are still too young and both have a window seat in any case. I'm sure when they get older they will start vying for shotgun.

Yes and sometimes it is quite annoying when one of them is still in a booster seat. Can you imagine the fun trips we have when it comes to who can sit where and why one can sit but the other can not? Family trips are awesome sometimes, like a hole in the head.

Not yet. But we just switched to a mini-van, and plan on stopping after this one is born, so there will be plenty of window seats.

I have an only child, so no. But when I was was growing up me and my brothers would fight over the window seat all the time. It was kind of fun actually.
