Hot Rods

Is anyone into hot rods? I grew up with Mustangs, Camaros, Vets, Firebirds, and the like and never outgrew them. Now, I have a Mustang FB as a hobby car. I don't drive it much, but it sure does bring back a lot of memories.

What year Mustang?? I grew up with a wide variety of street cars.....my daily driver in HS was a '57 210 Chevy 283ci 4sp. 2 of my buddies had '57 BelAir conv.....one was the red/black top and the other was the turquoise/white top. Future BiL had a '60 Vette (red) and his friend had a '58 Vette (yellow). An older friend had a '67 Plymouth Belvidere GTX Conv 440 4sp....he traded a '62 Impala 409 4spd in to get it. A year later his friend bought a '68 (or '69) Torino GT with 429 Cobra 4sp.

I don't do much else than keep what I have running.....My oldest son has a '72 Torino GT that has been sitting for almost 20yrs (47K original miles but needs a total restore). I have a few projects "in waiting" but am in no hurry and nothing is classic. Upcoming project is calipers/rotors on my son's '95 Z28......it can get confusing when I say "son"......I have 4 of them and the youngest will soon be 30....
