How do you wash you car?

When I go to the car wash I go to one of those "do it yourself" places. This way I wash every inch of my car and make sure it is spotless. Do you also proceed like this or do you just wash the dust off and be done with it?

With water! Seriously though, most times I take it to a "do it yourself" car wash too. There are times when I go to the automated ones. I like the underbody wash. I even take my car in the winter. It's important to get the salt and crud off the car.

It depends on my mood and pocketbook. I've gotten really lazy about it lately, so I take it in and someone else does all the cleaning, inside and out for me. Considering how fast it is, they don't do too bad of a job, but I do it better when I wash my car myself.

With the schedule I keep, I usually run it through the car wash. We do have a couple of places that add personal attention to the vehicle after they run it through the car was. They vacuum it out, wipe it down and hand was the windows. Nice. Expensive, but nice.
