How warm does it have to be?

How warm does it have to be to be able to wax and shine? What's the worst thing that could happen if you wax when it's cold out?

It would stick to your car and look like crude?

I am guessing of course since I never ventured such an odd risk. With my luck it would be stuck on my car forever, there a big blob of gunk stuck for life as a reminder of a minutes delay in clarity to not follow instructions.

If you try to do it when the temperature is under 50, the wax is likely to fog up and cake, and then you'll have to start fresh, and removing that wax can be a pain!

I have known people who just couldn't wait for the thermometer to hit the right temperature. Haste definitely makes waste in this department.
