Other than a standard tuneup, which helps when it's due, what can be done to increase a vehicle's gas mileage? With gas so expensive, I want to do all I can!
Keep under 45mph, do not take off fast, proper tire inflation levels. You can try using a fuel stabilizer to take out the ethanol in there to give better mpg.
I think most of these are old wives tales, but I just recently got an email that said to fill up slow not at full blast, don't let your tank fall below 1/4 tank, get gas early in the morning, and never when the tanker is there filling up the tanks.
