Is this rude?

I'm sitting in my living room and I can see my neighbors lawn service outside. I parked on the curb today, in front of my house.

The guy just walked by with a weed eater, I'm not sure why he was doing the walk in front of my house but the clippings and dirt were flying up on my car. I'm seriously annoyed but my roommate said it's not that big of a deal

Whoa! He should be glad he wasn't doing my neighbors lawn. If this ever happened to me I would be really upset. I probably would have wen't outside and said something to the guy. The're filming a Nickelodeon thing two houses down from me and the other day one of the camera crew guys backed a van into my trash can. It's one of those big city issued rubber-made looking things, but it bothered me. I was at my car when it happened so he jumped out, picked it up and apologized. I told him it was fine that time, but he need to tell the entire staff to quit parking in front of my house. I mean, they pull in front of my house with half of their car on my lawn and it's supposed to be all good because the're Nickelodeon? Annoying!

I'm the same way, I don't like anyone coming around my car or especially weed eating next to it. What is he would have thrown a rock into your windshield?

I'm glad I live out in the country and don't have to deal with neighbors. I'm not sure how the weed eater guy could fulfill his contract and avoid your car. That's just lousy though.

I think that's extremely rude. Let me tell you, if my fiance ever saw someone doing something like that, he would be out there so fast and giving them an ear-full. That's your car and it's rude to get crap all over it.

I think that's extremely rude! It's your car and they shouldn't be touching it or getting anything on it. I would be freaking out if I saw someone do that on my car. That's my baby!

Yeah, it may not be "that big of a deal" but seriously, stuff like that really irks me. I'd probably say something about it, but wouldn't make a "big deal" out of it... i dunno. The whole passive/aggressive bit.

I think it's completely rude and inconsiderate. What if they had of thrown a rock, dinged the paint or a window? That is a big deal. I'd tell them to stay away from my property.

I agree with the others. It's very rude and I would have given him an earfull. How dumb of him to walk beside someone's car that he doesn't even know and weedeat next to it. He should have asked you if that was your car first.
